The process of designing, constructing and operating a presentation facility involves a multitude of separate but interrelated details.  ECD knows there are many aspects of the facility that are critical to the end user that may escape companies with less board room systems design experience.  Some key factors we keep in mind as we plan and design board room solutions are:

Sound Design

In many presentations, sound provides an integral element in the impact of the message. The presenter as well as any prerecorded program sounds must be easily heard any where in the presentation room. Program sound systems use loudspeakers adjacent to the projection screen to make the sound appear to emanate from the screen. If the presentation room is large, additional loudspeakers may be installed in the ceiling to reinforce the sound for those seated far from the screen. The amplifiers and other equipment used to drive the loudspeakers are installed in the projection room. During the design and installation of the presentation space, the sound system configuration is matched to the size and shape of the room.
